Real estate purchases of energy efficient buildings are increasing, both for new buildings and for renovations.The Enea, in collaboration with the Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com) and the Italian Federation of Professional Real Estate Agents (Fiaip) made a research which carried out a monitoring of the dynamics of the 2019 real estate market according to the energy characteristics of buildings.For the new one, almost 80% of real estate transactions involved houses in energy classes A or B, while the percentage of the most efficient real estate sales in 2019 was 36% compared to 22% in 2018.Also in 2019, the purchases of buildings falling under the energy class G continue to decrease progressively.
